1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Tanmay Bhattacharjee handles information when you use WordBound, a free word-guessing puzzle game on the Google Play Store. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information. No account is required. All game data (streak, stats, daily progress) is stored locally on your device only and is never sent to any server.

3. Advertising — Google AdMob

The App is free and supported by advertising via Google AdMob (Google LLC). AdMob may collect:

• Android Advertising ID
• Device info (model, OS version, screen size)
• IP address (approximate location)
• App usage and ad interaction data

This data is collected and processed by Google under their own privacy policy. We do not access or control this data.

4. Ad formats used

• Banner ads — on the results/stats screen
• Interstitial ads — after a game round ends
• Rewarded ads — optional, watch to reveal a hint

Rewarded ads are always optional. You are never forced to watch an ad to play.

5. Opt out of personalised ads

On Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalisation". You will still see ads but they won't be personalised.

6. Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. The app is rated 13+ on the Play Store.

7. Data safety (Google Play)

• We collect no personal data directly
• AdMob may collect device identifiers for ads
• All local data is cleared on uninstall

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Changes will appear on this page with a revised date.
